Victory Fighting Championship 38 Announced

OMAHA, Neb., Sept 18, 2012 – The Victory Fighting Championship, the premier mixed martial arts organization in the Midwest, is excited to announce the date for its 38th event to be held Saturday, December 15. This year marks the tenth anniversary of Victory as well its first year in a new home as the inaugural event to take place at the brand new, state-of-the-art Ralston Arena. Tickets for the event are on sale now.

“We’re extremely excited to announce our partnership with Ralston Arena and look forward to the experience this new venue will bring our fans,” said Ryan Stoddard, Victory Owner. “As always, Victory is a family-friendly event and we now offer a new, lower ticket price, which will make attending the show more affordable.”

Victory’s partnership with the Ralston Arena brings the event to a more convenient, centralized location in the Omaha metro area. The event was previously held at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa. In addition to the event’s new home and lower ticket price, reserved seating will be offered for the first time in the event’s history. Victory shows typically attract 2,500 to 3,500 fans per event.

“This year is monumental for Victory Fighting Championship,” said Stoddard. “We’re bringing our event to a new venue and for the past ten years, we have brought our fans the best live MMA in the Midwest. Victory 38 will be no exception. Expect bright lights, big fights and big victories.

• UFC and Bellator veteran and Valley, Neb. native Ryan Roberts versus Bellator veteran and Papillion, Neb. native Josh Arocho in a featured bout.

• UNO wrestling stand-out Jay Wood competes for the Victory Welter Weight title.

• Omaha native and The Ultimate Fighter 14 participant Drew Dober.
